Retargeting and conversion guides

Most people don't buy the first time they visit a site. Retargeting shows them relevant ads afterwards, on other sites, apps and social platforms, while remarketing usually means reaching them again by email or text. Done with care, it brings back people who were close to buying, and it costs less than finding new ones.

Done carelessly, it follows people around the internet for weeks with the same banner and takes credit for sales that would have happened anyway. Good retargeting is split by what someone actually did on your site, capped so it doesn't annoy, and judged on whether it adds sales rather than whether it was in the path.

Conversion is the other half. A clearer landing page or a shorter checkout can bring your cost per acquisition down faster than any change to bidding. The guides below cover both. You can also see how we run retargeting campaigns and our approach to conversion-led growth.
